It was great to witness the Honorable Nat Cook, Minister for Human Services, officially launch Believe Housing’s latest project last Wednesday.
This $11 million social and affordable housing development in Woodville West will be home to people living with disability, over 55s and people on a moderate income who can’t afford the private rental market.
It includes nine SDA “Improved Livability” apartments. This is housing designed for people living with extreme functional impairment and/or those who have very high support needs. SDA funding covers design modifications to enable people to become more independent.
Believe Housing (formerly Anglicare SA) is another of URPS’ clients doing fantastic work to get people into housing that best meets their needs.
