Engagement For the Wise

Anyone can collect data when doing engagement.  But it takes experience, intuition and know-how to convert that data into wisdom.  This is what URPS does.

Our engagement team is on the front-line talking to people, facilitating the tricky discussions and uncovering critical intel for our clients.  We spend just as much time and energy back-of-house synthesizing, organising and analysing the data we collect so that it makes sense.

This doesn’t happen by chance.  Our Associate Director, Anna Deller-Coombs, recently completed training with the International Association for Public Participation on data management for engagement.  This is well beyond IAP2 accreditation.

This confirmed our approach pulling together huge amounts of complex data into a clear story that can improve decision making.  It also covered the latest on how we store and manage data considering cyber security risks.

This type of ongoing training keeps URPS at the forefront of engagement practice.
