The leader of our development facilitation team, Simon is a trusted and highly skilled development adviser with a collaborative, pragmatic and organised approach to development facilitation. His breadth of experience and extensive planning knowledge gives clients confidence that complex assessment issues will always be resolved.

Simon particularly enjoys the challenges associated with institutional, infrastructure and employment generating development applications. Whether it be parking, built form, protected trees, heritage conservation, Simon is able to negotiate in ways that ensure balanced development outcomes for all.

Simon also understands that good planning policy is necessary to facilitate development efficiently. His approach to strategic planning creates in policy solutions that ‘make things happen’ even if that means challenging conventional wisdom.
