We are very excited to welcome Edoardo Rosso to URPS. Edoardo has a PhD in social sciences (Social Geography) and extensive experience in research and aged care. He has worked with UniSA, as well as aged care providers ECH Inc. and Helping Hand Aged Care.
As a Research Fellow in the Division of Health Sciences at UniSA, Edoardo established a new area of community participation, research and teaching relating to development through sport. This was complemented by his passion for high level soccer coaching outside work, taking his team to 11 titles over the past 15 years.
Edoardo has a background in qualitative research, participatory approaches, community engagement, strategic planning and innovative thinking in social research fields and the human services. He is focused on social and community development, social innovation, partnership and capacity-building. He also loves to apply critical and lateral thinking to complex social issues that require an innovative approach.
You will immediately recognise one of our core values in Edoardo – being energised. He is a real enthusiast for social planning, combining hard work with a great sense of fun.
Together with Pip Williams and Angela Hazebroek, Edoardo enhances our already very strong social planning team.
