Multi-Million Dollar Boost for Murray Bridge

Render of Thomas Foods building in Murray Bridge

Thomas Foods International’s commitment to the Murray Bridge region and South Australia has been boosted by the recent planning approval of its new meat processing facility.

The Council Assessment Panel (CAP) was impressed with the best practice, modern processing facility proposal, declaring it to be an exceptional development on a very well chosen site.  The CAP was also impressed with the thoroughness of the development application by the project team and the detailed assessment by Council and Environment Protection Authority (EPA) staff.

We’d like to acknowledge the design team including, BECA, Premise, The Odour Unit, CIRQA, EBS, Clover Landscape Architects, Botten Levinson Lawyers, Aerodrome Services and GPA.  We’d also like to acknowledge the support of Department for Trade and Investment, the Department for Planning, Transport and Infrastructure, the EPA and the Rural City of Murray Bridge.

And, of course, congratulations to Thomas Foods International.

Thomas Foods International’s development continues the economic rejuvenation of the Murray Bridge region, which we have been pleased to be a part of with projects such as the redevelopment of the Bridgeport Hotel (currently under construction), Costa Group’s multi-million dollar mushroom farm expansion at Monarto and the Inghams Enterprises feed-mill at White Sands.
